Planet awareness at Cebelio

 Cebelio recognizes that reducing waste, increasing recycling and being mindful of the environment is an important part to help with New Zealand’s sustainability.

To reduce the amount of waste generated, Cebelio and the team have a “Reduce, Reuse and Recycle” mindset.

We work with local recycling companies to assist in the reduction of waste going to landfills.

Recent waste reduction and sustainability initiatives include:

• Using our plastic sheets mindfully in order to reduce waste
• Reusing packaging / the use of sustainable packaging
• The utilization of ‘offcuts’ by converting these into products
•  Replacing disposable cups with reusable cups
• Educating our customers on sustainable options
• Incorporating  LED lighting into our factory
• Minimizing unnecessary electricity usage
• Replacing of non-recyclable / unsustainable products with eco-friendly options such as Futurewood Eco Decking

We repeatedly evaluate our sustainability and we regularly search for innovative ways to reduce, reuse and recycle.
