Polycarbonate, also known as Lexan or Makrolon, is an incredibly lightweight, strong and versatile plastic. It offers extraordinary impact resistance, durability and flexibility.
Polycarbonate is about 200 times stronger than glass and less than half the weight of it. It is also stronger and typically lighter than aluminium.
Available in clear and grey tint, colours and other finishes are also available (with minimum order quantities).
Whether cutting, machining, bending or finishing, Polycarbonate sheets are fabrication-friendly. Its flexibility makes it easy to hot and cold bend or thermoform.
