Cebelio offers a range of plastics that are well-suited to the demands of agricultural applications. Our materials are strong, versatile, and widely available. A range of plastics are used in agriculture, including polyolefins (polyethylene (PE), Polypropylene (PP)) and less frequently, Poly-vinyl chloride (PVC), Polycarbonate (PC).
While Cebelio stocks a range of materials we also extend our precision cutting and fabrication in-house services to our customers. We can cut holes, bevel edges, cut angles and convert our materials into finished products. All customised to your requirements and all under one roof.
Agricultural Plastics
Metal roofing breaks down over time, it’s subject to corrosion and requires maintenance to keep its appearance and integrity. On the other hand, Cebelio’s Polycarbonate roofing doesn’t react to things like oxygen and water. It also doesn’t require waterproofing maintenance to keep integrity. Polycarbonate roofing is strong while allowing visible light to pass though.
Polycarbonate sheets are virtually unbreakable and are about about 200 times stronger than glass. Also known as Lexan or Makrolon, it is an incredibly lightweight, strong, and versatile plastic. It offers extraordinary impact resistance, durability, and flexibility. Polycarbonate can be used for Tractor windows and enclosure spaces too.
Polycarbonate Twinwall is perfect for large scale greenhouses. The sheets offer high tensile strength and are available in wide sheet sizes that can significantly reduce construction costs.
PVC in it’s rigid form is a low-cost material that is very easy to fabricate, bond, weld and machine. It’s used often for microbial wall lining and general wall lining.
Polyethylene (PE) is an industrial strength material that has great impact and chemical resistance. It’s a popular choice for engineering uses and is commonly used for things like pipes, tanks and vessels.
Industrial Polypropylene offers fantastic chemical resistance, mechanical, thermal and electrical properties. Polypropylene (PP) is commonly used for things like water tanks and agricultural cladding.
