Description

Acrylic, known as Perspex and Plexiglas, is an extremely versatile product. Acrylic is used in a variety of areas such as signage, display, fabrication and building applications.

It offers clarity, light transmission, and UV resistance that is comparable to glass, but with half the weight of glass.

Acrylic is a plastic with exceptional strength, stiffness, and optical clarity. Acrylic sheet is simple to fabricate, bonds well with adhesives and solvents, and is thermoformable. When compared to many other transparent plastics, it has superior weathering properties.

Acrylic sheet has glass-like properties such as clarity, brilliance, and transparency, but it is half the weight and much more impact resistant than standard glass. Acrylic plastic offer exceptional versatility, durability, and aesthetic qualities in everything from durable signs and skylights to eye-catching retail store fixtures, displays, and shelves.

Hi-impact Acrylic is also available in varying sheet sizes and gauges.

Other finishes such as Matt, Mirror and Anti-glare are also available.

Whether cutting, machining, bending or finishing, acrylic sheets are fabrication-friendly. So, with only a few (if any) tools beyond those typically found in a well-supplied shop environment, you can use the material with a dozen different methods to achieve a finished product.
